While the teachers were meeting up together, the students hung out together in small groups. Some hung out at a German students house and others met up to picknick and play some card games at the lake.

NORDEN MAY 2022
The Spanish students arrived around midnight on Sunday, 8th of May after lots of delays regarding their plane.
OUR SCHEDULE
MONDAY, 09.05.2022
On Monday we visited our school for the first time with our Spanish students. There we had a breakfast in the school cafeteria. Then as mentioned before we started producing the song and also we designed some t shirt designs for the project. In the afternoon we had a tour through Norden which was planned and organised by the German students who prepared little presentations about the different touristic attractions we have in Norden. After our tour we met in one the German students garden to drink some cocktails/mocktails together (of course without alcohol 😉 !) and had soup and wraps to eat. We had a great evening with lots of dancing. We also gave Sophie a present because we celebrated at her place a month after her birthday!
TUESDAY, 10.05.2022
We went on a super interesting boat drive which showed us all about the East Frisian Waddensea and animals in it. The boat brought us to Langeoog, an East Frisian island, and we walked to the town center and talked about the historical and cultural differences between Germany and Spain.
When we arrived, gladly they still had their beloved May Tree, an East Frisian tradition. We talked a little bit about it and then split into two mixed groups to wander around on the island. After two hours we met up again and danced, sang and played some games on the beach.
We went back home by the Island train, then the boat and got onto the bus that would bring us back to school.
WEDNESDAY, 11.05.2022
On Wednesday we also had a radio interview for our local radio station called Radio Nordseewelle. Also we visited the tea museum in Norden which is the city where the German high school is located. There we had a little tour through the traditional tea cultures in the world. After that we celebrated a traditional east frisian tea ceremony because it has its own rules for how you drink it.
THURSDAY, 12.05.2022
At Thursday we took the train to Bremen. In Bremen, we first had a guided tour to learn about the historical background of the city and after that we’ve got three hours to explore the city on our own and go shopping. We left Bremen at 5pm and hung out. at home or met up privately in small groups.
FRIDAY, 13.05.2022
On Friday we edited the video in small groups or, like we are doing now, update the Etwinning website. The editing seems to be going well and our updates are also coming along. For the video we created Whatsapp groups for each day of the week and sent in all the pictures we took along the way.
SATURDAY, 14.05.2022
This is the last day of the Spanish people in Germany, we are all very sad and hope that they have a safe flight back home.
We, the German students, are super excited to meet them again in June! 🙂
